Getting to Know Your International Contacts—Part 2

This week, I listened to two podcasts on educational issues in other countries.  The podcasts are audio conversations with early childhood professionals.  One of the podcasts discussed poverty in other countries. The second discussed the quality of early childhood education programs.  These podcasts provide information on how early childhood educators address issues in their own country.  As a childhood educator, I can use this information to enhance my own classes.

  1. Tammy,
I am enjoying the podcasts, also. When I hear them speak I feel like I have some kind of connection with the person and can picture their work coming alive if I, then, read about their work.

  2. Suzanne,
Thank you for your comments. When I listen to the podcasts, it is like listening to radio. However, I feel a connection to the speakers. The issues discussed are so close to home that I realize that the world is much smaller than I thought. Education issues are a global problem and poverty and a lack of program funding are global concerns.
